⁷ Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;
All Your ^(A)breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.
⁸ By day, Yahweh will ^(B)command His lovingkindness;
And ^(C)by night, His song will be with me,
A prayer to ^(D)the God of my life.

⁹ I say to God ^(E)my rock, “Why have You forgotten me?
Why do I go ^(F)mourning ^[a]because of the ^(G)oppression of the enemy?”
